https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1230127 Bug ID: 1230127 Summary: Nintendo Switch game Controller failing to connect Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Slowroll Hardware: Other OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Applications Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: devguy.ca@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Target Milestone: --- Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 877123 --> https://bugzilla.suse.com/attachment.cgi?id=877123&action=edit Bluetooth scan My Nintendo Switch game controller will not connect to my PC. I am using openSUSE TW with KDE with X11. When I go to pair the device using bluetooth, it will show up in the scan but keeps failing to pair. $ bluetoothctl -v bluetoothctl: 5.77 If I plug in the game controller using UBS, I do see it listed as a UBS device. $ lsusb | grep -i nin Bus 003 Device 005: ID 057e:2009 Nintendo Co., Ltd Switch Pro Controller However under KDE > Settings > Game Controller it fails to show anything. If I start up Steam, the game controller is also not detected. I do have joycond service up and running. $ sudo systemctl status joycond.service ● joycond.service - joycond Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/joycond.service; enabled; preset: disabled) Active: active (running) since Fri 2024-08-30 17:16:34 EDT; 17h ago Invocation: bde55e5e5c0b40ef8c7fa72638303498 Main PID: 1736 (joycond) Tasks: 1 (limit: 76906) CPU: 2.204s CGroup: /system.slice/joycond.service └─1736 /usr/bin/joycond Aug 30 17:16:34 source systemd[1]: Started joycond.
