(custom-set-faces '(default ((t (:family "Courier" :size "12pt"))) t)) and I used to have courier as my default font. But, I noticed that this configuration is ignored and Xemacs is using my desktop font after upgrading to openSUSE11.1. List of fonts in Option->Fonts are grayed out.
