http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1007703 Bug ID: 1007703 Summary: xf86-video-nouveau always installed Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org Assignee: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: lnussel@suse.com QA Contact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com CC: dleuenberger@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Looks like the Nouveau driver always gets installed: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/293841#step/start_install/1 openqa uses cirrus so I wouldn't expect to see this popop. Dominique, can we still revert your change, please? The bug is in xf86-video-nouveau as Max already outlined in comment #3. I've just submitrequested a fix for this package (SR#438237).
Sure we can - as stated, I opted for the change in Mesa-dri-nouveau due to the lower risk should the PCI ID supplements in xf86-video-nouveau not be complete... that's the only reason I did it there instead of removing the Supplements: xorg-x11-server from xf86-video-nouveau -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Hell. Wrong product. Leap 42.1. Here are the correct commits for 42.2: SR#438243 (openSUSE:Leap:42.2) SR#438244 (openSUSE:Leap:42.2:Update) Feel free to remove the wrong one. I never know, which branch to commit to at this state ... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
