Marius,
So what's your idea? Is it okay to add the /etc/NetworkManager/VPN/nm-strongswan-service.name in strongswan?
Thanks!
Well, I'd expect them in the strongswan-nm package rather than in NetworkManager-strongswan too, but it is as provided upstream (what I prefer to follow, except there is a strong reason against). /NetworkManager-strongswan-1.2.0/nm-strongswan-service.conf /NetworkManager-strongswan-1.2.0/nm-strongswan-service.name.in It seems to be done this way around, because of the [GNOME] auth-dialog=@LIBEXECDIR@/nm-strongswan-auth-dialog section that adds a GUI dependency... Hmm... What we can do is to provide the common parts in strongswan-nm package and the GUI dependend things in GUI packages. AFAIS, the nm-strongswan-service.conf is the common one (dbus service config), that could be provided by strongswan-nm. IMO, the nm-strongswan-service.name has to be in the package, that provides nm-strongswan-auth-dialog binary... It's all about NM/GUI, AFAIS. The NetworkManager-strongswan-kde4 package on 11.4 seems to be quite broken... NetworkManager-strongswan [gnome] is not even there... I'd say, let's reassign this bug to the KDE maintainers to review what exactly is needed to get it running and then we'll see. BTW: AFAIS both packages, NetworkManager-strongswan and -kde4 require the strongswan package. Please require "strongswan-nm" instead. There is IMO no need to require more (init script, ikev1). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
