Provide a step by step infotrmation what you did, what the system responds to you (i.e. all messages and error messages) so that we have a chance to reproduce your problem. Provide exact information which exact printer models there are connected where and how in your network. The windowsboxes do not have the slightest problem with the shared printer. First of all, the Yast printermodule, does not keep the installed printer, so i have to add it every time i start-up. Than i have tried to set the printer up by localhost:631 There i ran into this problem. Printer is an EPSON Stylus C64. After installing the printer with Yast, the test page was total weird, and kept on printing ,page after page. I had to stop it manualy. When i wanted to print a document, it printed the texteditors settings, instead of the document. Browser FF 2.0.0.2Pre(x86_64) Cups 1.2.7 After the testpage, that kept on printing, i had no choice to choose the drivers for the printer. I want to acces the printer via windows with samba, and also via linux, if the linux (SuSE10.3A+) is booted up, and something needs to be printed. So Linux must be able to print also. The (local)printer was detected by Cups, and installed, only the drivers was Gutenberg or something, but there were only stripes.. I tried to manage him from cupsserver, because when i added 192,168.1.255, and acces grant for 192.168.1.*, it showed up on the AMD. ( I am going to try and install, or connect the drivers, the printer worked ok, before my network failed. My network is ok now, so the printer has to come online, to be complete. That is all for now. (want to know something specific? ( now i am very ashamed)!!! The uri was now complete, from the kde module, and now all went well.. So the Gutenberg driver is installed, and the printer does what it has to do... Printer Test Page, Printed Using Cups v1.2.x ESP, look good, with the colour wheel, the gray ramp, and the 1 degree radial lines. So now this part is working well... Just reloading the page, is not allright.
