The workaround pointed to in the link below at least allowed me to start netbeans... Have no idea what the side effects are - be very very very very careful. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=294033 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=224104#c3 --- Comment #3 from Mark Van De Vyver <mvdv@spamcop.net> 2007-11-14 14:59:51 MST --- Interesting, I couldn't get firefox to render java app web pages, eclipse or netbeans to run correctly under compiz. In case anyone else comes this way, rather than open a new bug report try consulting the following.... It seems Bugzilla #252510 is where a recommended workaround is explored (sloppy locking). In addition many other apps are mentioned as broken, latest (10/10/2007) being a mention of Matlab. This bug seems remarkable for its longevity from Sun, IBM, etc. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
