[Bug 1050179] New: Libreoffice 5.4.0.x not able to sign digitally document
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1050179 Bug ID: 1050179 Summary: Libreoffice 5.4.0.x not able to sign digitally document Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: LibreOffice Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: bruno@ioda-net.ch QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Since the introduction of 5.4.0.x version in Tumbleweed libreoffice is no more able to sign a digital document. If you try to apply a digital signature (x509) the list of certificate appear, but when you choose one, none is applied. Reading previously digitally signed document is still working. This a major failure, as digitally signed documents are mandatory here to be valid (like invoice, offers and so on). This is now fixed with build 5.4.0.3-1.1 on Tumbleweed.
So next time before upgrading TW snapshot with not yet released software, it should be deeply reviewed before.
A call for testing packages in Devel repo would avoid this troubles.
You know, seeing this comment probably I shouldn't have bothered fixing it. But hey wahtever the heck floats your boat. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
