I am not sure what was intention of chenzi when he assigned this issue, but you could create submit request with your changes. I found that this issue is already corrected in latest upstream version 1.46 from https://metacpan.org/pod/Log::Log4perl

also available in OBS under devel:languages:perl:autoupdate/perl-Log-Log4perl
