Yes, we are trying to remove generated links through /etc, not all symlinks.
I don't know if it's always OK to run `rpm -qf` inside %postun. It sounds risky.
Indeed, that DOES sound risky There must be something right, if two experts have the same feeling :-) OK, lets not prefer this solution.
A slightly better option might be to check if /usr/bin/node is actually still a symlink (which would mean it's not yet been replaced with a libupdatealternatives-linked variant)
If the file is no link, then you can cleanup the etc/alternative if it still exists Hm, the problem which Adam and I have that we do not know, who has created this link. Update-alternative or already the package ? Maybe I oversee something here but I fear that is not the solution for it. But please correct me if I am wrong.
