Why this had become a systemd bug?
rpm -qf /usr/lib/systemd/system/wpa_supplicant.service wpa_supplicant-2.2-6.2.x86_64
cat /usr/lib/systemd/system/wpa_supplicant.service
[Unit] Description=WPA Supplicant daemon Before=network.target
[Service] Type=dbus BusName=fi.w1.wpa_supplicant1 ExecStart=/usr/sbin/wpa_supplicant -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf -u -f /var/log/wpa_supplicant.log
[Install] WantedBy=multi-user.target
In other words, if run-level (whatever this is on a systemd based boot scheme), which does not include multi-user.target there is no wpa_supplicant.service.
Perhaps because openSUSE has multi-user.target and requires internet and there is no internet w/o wpa_supplicant. And it's runlevel 3. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
