As instructed with 12.1 release I deleted entries (repos) for 11.4, and added "Current OSS" ones. Then I installed newer evince and okular. It trigerred a lot of new installs and updates. I accepted, after that my entire desktop was unusable -- almost every program complained about missing something, it appeared two reasons -- one: KDE3 library entry from /etc/ld.so.config was deleted and second, older apps (i.e. currently installed) were unable to use newer glic. The version difference between glibc is minor (take it literally), but nevertheless it broke my system.
