[Bug 929724] New: vnc access doesn't work
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=929724 Bug ID: 929724 Summary: vnc access doesn't work Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: armv7 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org Assignee: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: josua.m@t-online.de QA Contact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- I enabled Remote Access (VNC) using YaST, but always end up with a black screen trying to connect to port 5901 using a vnc client. On that port, the display-manager should fire up and show a login screen. I am using an armv7l system, running lightdm and xfce4. I tracked it only this far: - apparently lightdm is not listening for xdmcp on port 177 - /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager needs to allow tcp connections? anyway, I am not progressing on this task at all and could use some assistance. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
