[Bug 990358] New: kmail instead to attach files by dropping them from Dolphin just adds in the mail body the local way to them
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=990358 Bug ID: 990358 Summary: kmail instead to attach files by dropping them from Dolphin just adds in the mail body the local way to them Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: 64bit OS: SUSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Applications Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: kiv@mail.orbitel.bg QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Using openSUSE Tumbleweed after some updates now I have got KMail 5.2.2 But the way to create attachments in KMail now get changed to worse. When I try to drop to attach some files form Dolphin in my E-mails, KMail instead to attach them just is writing in the mail body the local way to the files. It is useless for any body from my correspondents except me, because no body except me can use this local path to my attachment. In past when I dropped files from Dolphin to the mail redactor of KMail it did attach them to the currently prepared E-mail. I believe this behaviour is the correct one and the new behaviour probably is a bug. Now I can do my job by pressing the attachment button and follow the path then click the needed file and press OK to attach it. But this is very annoying. If dropping files to be attached in KMail could be made to work properly again it will be much mode user friendly way of working. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
