PDF) out of the Firefox downloadmanager. This freezing takes some minutes, after that everything is running fine again. No Error Messages seen. Under Gnome or eg. LXDE that problem doesnt happend, with same account and Firefox profile. I could see the same problem with Thunderbird attachments too - just didnt test with Gnome and LXDE. So maybe it is a general problem with gtk programms under kde. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start KDE4 with an account on NFS (in my case NFSv4 Krb5) 2. start Firefox 3. Download anything (sometimes u need to download 2 or 3 things before the freezing happens) 4. wait some Minutes then freezing is over.
