Now I did and fields to input login and password are black, so that one cannot see what they write. See the screenshot. Also the "Password:" label is not visible until Enter key is pressed. Hmm. Is this a virtual machine? Which one? If qemu, which gfx emulation (-vga option)? Could you also attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log?

xdm (1.1.11 -> 1.1.12)
