Then I found out that also nspluginwrapper need to be installed to enable Firefox to use flash-plug-in. Proposed solution: It could be a good idea to add nspluginwrapper into flash-player install dependency list, so nspluginwrapper is installed automatically. From my experience on 11.1, nspluginwrapper was nearly mandatory for daily use on i586 as well, otherwise flash-player killed firefox 10-20 times daily.
Firefox also need to protect against acroread crashes. They are pretty often on tab close. I am not sure, how stable are flash-player and acroread are on 11.2-i586, but it makes sense to build and maybe even supplement both in nspluginwrapper for i586.
