[Bug 888805] Bogus network configuration screen during install

http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=888805 --- Comment #13 from Neil Rickert <nrickert@ameritech.net> --- Some people are following this, because they cannot read bug 888130 which is marked as solved. I did a clean install on my laptop using factory snapshot 20140928. The network configuration screen did show up. I went through the WiFi configuration, then continued to install. There were no errors in this. What did surprise me, is that the installer did not appear to attempt to establish a wifi connection. I checked that using CTRL-ALT-F2 during the install, and "ifconfig -a" showed no active connection. After install, the system came up using NetworkManager. I had to configure that. However, I later switched to "wicked". And I had a WiFi connection with "wicked", apparently using the connection details that I had configured during the install. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
