http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1019627 Bug ID: 1019627 Summary: AACRAID + Adaptec 2410SA appears to be broken Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: Other OS: openSUSE 42.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: madworm_de.novell@spitzenpfeil.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.71 Safari/537.36 Build Identifier: Trying to 'see' and mount logical drives using the Adaptec 2410SA. The module is loaded, but no device nodes show up. Nothing! I've tried it with a fairly recent PartedMagic version (kernel 4.8.14) and it suffers from the same issue. A very old SuSE 9.1 (kernel 2.6.xx) and Ubuntu 14.04.4-desktop-i386 (Linux ubuntu 4.2.0-27-generic #32~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 22 15:32:27 UTC 2016 i686 ...) boot up and see the drivers as expected. Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
