[Bug 870602] New: /boot/boot symlink owned by grub
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=870602 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=870602#c0 Summary: /boot/boot symlink owned by grub Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 13.2 Milestone 0 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: mchang@suse.com ReportedBy: lnussel@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- the grub package owns the /boot/boot symlink. So if grub is not installed but only grub2 the system won't boot if /boot is on a separate partition. Should this symlink maybe be owned by some other common package instead? Or is grub always expected to be installed even if grub2 is used (in that case there should be a Requires I guess)? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
