[Bug 422001] New: After 2= Years in Developement KB3 is still flakey - Strongly Suggest you Drop it from openSuse Product
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=422001 Summary: After 2= Years in Developement KB3 is still flakey - Strongly Suggest you Drop it from openSuse Product Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE3 AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: alpha096@virginbroadband.com.au QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer The KDE application KB3 is still flaky after 2= years in development. I would strongly suggest you drop it from the openSuse Distro in KDE4 openSuse V11.x. I am certain sourceforge has a better resourced and developed CD/DVD Module in its default place. KB3 Currently is on my screen as attached and at this stage in its development it would appear that it may never progress. Discussion Please. Please do not refer me to KDE Bugs - There have been far too may written about KB3 and its still flaky after 2+ or more years. This issue is for OpenSuse to consider dropping the application in its KDE Desktop of OpenSuse 11.x and further in time in favor of an application that may be available from sourceforge that IS stable. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

You did not report any description of your issues, including backtraces or how to reproduce them. Maybe your cd-drive is the problem, since, as the commenter before stated already, there is nothing unstable about the released versions of k3b. (I assume you mean k3b and not kb3) Even Gnome users use k3b, which I think tells a lot about its quality. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
