[Bug 345948] New: korgac SIGSEGV after first popup reminder
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=345948 Summary: korgac SIGSEGV after first popup reminder Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: jh@sgi.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Other korgac crash with SIGSEGV when I hit close on a popup reminder. It is happening every time. It doesn't happen if I hit snooze, or leave it open. After it crashes, I don't get any more popups, and I miss meetings. While in some cases that serves as a convenient excuse, :) it's generally not a good thing. I run gnome, but installed korganizer and whatever it pulled in. I don't remember if I did that at install time, or later with the Software Management YaST tool. I imported my calendar entries from the korganizer I was running with OpenSUSE 10.2. Here is a grep of kde in my installed rpms: kdegames3-card-3.5.7-52 kdepim4-3.93.0.svn712059-12 kdelibs3-3.5.7-72.2 kdebase3-ksysguardd-3.5.7-87 kdebase4-runtime-3.93.0.svn712052-11 kde4-kmobiletools-3.93.0.svn712059-12 kdelibs3-default-style-3.5.7-72.2 bundle-lang-kde-en-10.3-103 kde4-filesystem-3.93.0-6 kdelibs4-core-3.93.0.svn712047-6 kdebase3-3.5.7-87 kde4-kdialog-3.93.0.svn712052-11 kdebase4-workspace-3.93.0.svn712052-11 kde4-korganizer-3.93.0.svn712059-12 libkdecore4-3.93.0.svn712047-6 libkde4-3.93.0.svn712047-6 kdeutils3-laptop-3.5.7-63 kdebase4-libkonq-3.93.0.svn712052-11 kdebase3-beagle-3.5.7-87 libkdepimlibs4-3.93.0.svn712050-6 kde4-konqueror-3.93.0.svn712052-11 libkdepim4-3.93.0.svn712059-12 kdegames3-3.5.7-52 kdelibs3-doc-3.5.7-72.2 kdelibs4-3.93.0.svn712047-6 kdepimlibs4-3.93.0.svn712050-6 There are also some TZ confusion. I'm CST, and korganizer knows that, but the popups are coming an hour early. I don't know if that is related or not. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I recommend you use the korganizer and korgac kdepim3 package from 10.3 or else upgrade to the released KDE 4 packages for 10.3 which you can find how to install at http://en.opensuse.org/KDE4. These are still unsupported on 10.3 but since they are basically the same as will be in openSUSE 11.0 I am interested in fixing their bugs. (Oh and the package there is currently not building but I'll fix that in the course of this week. Use kdepim3 korga* for now.). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
