@daniel: apologies for assigning this to you directly - I was unsure of which
list to use.
Rapido uses Dracut extensively for VM image generation. It does so as a
non-root user.
Following upgrade from Leap 42.3->15 I notice a significant amount of chown
errors:
dracut: *** Resolving executable dependencies ***
dracut-install: Failed to chown
/home/david/rapido-utils/rapido/initrds/dracut.yVEffV/initramfs/lib64/libreadline.so.7.0:
Operation not permitted
dracut-install: Failed to chown
/home/david/rapido-utils/rapido/initrds/dracut.yVEffV/initramfs/lib64/libdl-2.26.so:
Operation not permitted
...
These appear to have been added upstream via:
commit e7ba1392e180eb6f5e19dfd28a340a98cf09a3cd

Hi, I have submitted this patch to Factory and the devel project. Any chance you could check it from there and give me the go for backports?
Sure, will do. Actually, I never noticed this on SLE15SP1. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
