http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=938222 Bug ID: 938222 Summary: Strange font rendering Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 42 Bootstrap Phase Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: ronisbr@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 640989 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=640989&action=edit Screenshot of the problem I am getting a very strange font rendering in the first build of openSUSE Leap 42. Sometimes the letters are cut as it can be seen in the attached image. I tried many configuration of anti-aliasing and hinting, which were set using KDE system settings, but nothing helped. I also tried to install libfreetype6 + fontconfig from Tumbleweed repository, but it also did not fix the problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Actually I saw this bug in the first Leap ISO. In the released version, it does not happen anymore.
Then I think we can close it as something that was likely fixed by the various KDE related updates since M1 to GM. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
