[Bug 1208257] cannot activate online repositories when installing Tumbleweed-i586
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1208257 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1208257#c1 Dominique Leuenberger <dimstar@opensuse.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |CONFIRMED --- Comment #1 from Dominique Leuenberger <dimstar@opensuse.org> --- (In reply to Steffen Winterfeldt from comment #0)
You get an error popup when trying to activate online repos at the start of the installation.
The `external_sources_link` element in control.xml refers to
https://download.opensuse.org/YaST/Repos/openSUSE_i586_Factory_Servers.xml
and that does not exist.
Replacing it with the usual
https://download.opensuse.org/YaST/Repos/openSUSE_Factory_Servers.xml
Problem with that is that this links to download.o.o/tumbleweed which does not have i586 binaries - so in fact is the same as not having the entry at all The link is injected when building the skelcd-control package: https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/openSUSE:Factory/skelcd-control..., lines 145ff What we seem to be missing is to publish (or generate) https://download.opensuse.org/YaST/Repos/openSUSE_i586_Factory_Servers.xml -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
