I'm not sure why this causes a seemingly random kvm-kmp-$flavor package to be selected -- do the kvm-kmp-$flavor packages really require an "Enhances: kernel-$flavor" dependency for this to work? If so, then adding this dependency automatically indeed should be very simple. Of course, maybe it's not worth it since the problem will be addressed w/ the updated template.
