[Bug 329628] New: suspend on lid-close only every second time
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=329628 Summary: suspend on lid-close only every second time Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: RC 1 Platform: 64bit OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: behlert@novell.com ReportedBy: fvzwieten@vxcompany.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I have some weird behaviour here. I have setup things up to suspend on lid close (a nx7400 notebook). If I close the lid the first time after startup it suspends. After resume from there, if I close the lid again, it wont suspend, it just blanks the screen. When I open the lid again, my screen comes back. If I close the lid again, is does suspend. if I open the lid after that it resumes ok (screen up, password dialog). This keeps repeating. Every second time I close the lid it suspends. The first time not. If I monitor this with tail -f /var/log/pm-suspend.log the occasions where suspend is not successfull, nothing is logged.
