Did you manage to get YaST logs or shall I have a try when I get the chance? (I'd use remote logging as I have in the past - a bit of a pain to set up though). Cheers Richard [0] Direct install on Athlon XP2400 box with twin IDE discs, partitions are set thus: sda1 /boot ext2, Formatted sda2 swap sda3,4 not used here (another OSL system) sdb1 swap sdb2 LVM (default settings) LVM-root / ext3, Formatted LVM-home /home ext3, Formatted LVM-data /data ext3, Not formatted Desktop KDE4.1 FWIW; everything else is default -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=428146 User bitdealer@gmail.com added comment https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=428146#c2 --- Comment #2 from Stephan Kleine <bitdealer@gmail.com> 2008-09-25 03:46:13 MDT --- Created an attachment (id=241611) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=241611) The installation logs Attached are all installation logs - everything, except same root password, automatic login and automatic configuration are the defaults for a lvm based installation. I was not able to setup remote logging after the reboot since the "boot from harddisk" option in grub didn't accept any parameters so it's only the stuff from the 1st installation stage. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
