Can you please try the following: 1) Install the latest version from KDE:KDE4:Community 2) Provide the output of rpm -qa | grep smb4k 3) If the package smb4k (without the kde4- ) still exist, please remove it. This could be that the library paths have been mixed up somehow. Please let me know. Ok, removed smb4k and reinstalled kde4-smb4k. Now it works ! So closing->WORKSFORME!
