User's Full Name: Mitsutoshi NAKANO Username: mitsutoshi Password: [foobar] Use this password for system administrator: on Recieve System Mail: on Automatic Login: ***ON*** I finished install, OS was rebooted, and I could autologin to openSUSE 13.2 Milestone 0 . I started konsole . I typed "sudo ls" . root's password: I typed "[foobar]" . Sorry, try again I typed "foobar" . Sorry, try again I typed " foobar " . Sorry, try again sudo: 3 incorrect password attempts So I can not use root . On the other hand, I installed openSUSE 13.2 Milestone 0 to another VM . I inputted the following information . User's Full Name: Mitsutoshi NAKANO Username: mitsutoshi Password: foobar Use this password for system administrator: on Recieve System Mail: on Automatic Login: on I finished install, OS was rebooted, and I could autologin to openSUSE 13.2 Milestone 0 . I started konsole . I typed "sudo ls" . root's password: I typed "foobar" . Then ls was done . I think this issue is password character's problem . Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Begin installation . 2. Input "[foobar]" in password on "Create New User " . 3. Continue and finish installation . 4. After autologin, start konsole . 5. $sudo ls 6. Type "[foobar]" Actual Results: I could not use root . Expected Results: I should be able to use root .
