I might have been installed by a different package, I don't know about. Udev rules and rules installed by packages are usually in /lib/udev, not in /etc/udev. The old and new firewire driver video nodes have some basic support for the group 'video' and the locally logged-in user. For the old and deprecated firewire drivers there is no default access granted for normal users to raw firewire nodes, because of security issues. That needs to be done by custom udev rules, if needed. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
