[Bug 409403] New: Evolution mail notification icon should launch Evo appropriately
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=409403 Summary: Evolution mail notification icon should launch Evo appropriately Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Factory Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Evolution AssignedTo: bnc-team-evolution@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sholmes@novell.com QAContact: lakhil@novell.com Found By: --- When a new mail item is received, Evolution shows a "New Mail" icon in the task bar, however, clicking it doesn't do anything. I propose that clicking on it launches Evolution (if it's not running) and positions the cursor on the last mail received (in the case where there's been a bulk receipt). Alternatively, I would propose that clicking on the icon show a (configurable) summary of the mail received and allow the one the user wishes to view to be selected. Lastly, should the new mail notification icon flash an icon on the task bar or should it use the notification daemon like other alerts? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
