https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=638477 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=638477#c0 Summary: Compiz - Monitor view area being shifted on dual screen configuration Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Compiz AssignedTo: bnc-team-compiz@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: info@komputika.net QAContact: ories@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100723 SUSE/3.6.8-1.3 Firefox/3.6.8 Hello, just udated my OpenSuSe 11.3 installation and since then I'm experiencing a weird behaviour in X while Desktop Effects are enabled. I have a dual screen configuration (on an Intel video MSI U200 netbook) and images shown on screen "on the right" are being shifted left of some 200px (at 1440x900 but the same happens on every possibile resolution). Disabling desktop effects seems to solve the issue and no error is being generated (as far as I can see at least). Same behaviour is occurring both with KDE and GNOME. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable desktop effects Actual Results: 2nd screen being shifted Expected Results: No image shift should occur. lspci -v output for video card: 00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07) Subsystem: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. Turning my monitor upside down could be a short-term solution ;) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
