[Bug 671468] New: boot.localfs: waiting for none for too long
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=671468 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=671468#c0 Summary: boot.localfs: waiting for none for too long Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jslaby@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: lnussel@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=413676) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=413676) fstab boot.localfs waits for 'none' for whole 30s when booting. There is no reason to wait for 'none'... If I add: none*) continue ;; into list_missed. It works as expected. Actually it should wait only for /dev nodes. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

list_missed () { local dev line - local mount_opts="-t $nofs -O no_netdev -O nonofail" + local mount_opts="-t $nofs,$tmpfs -O no_netdev -O nonofail"
Yes, this works. BTW if I have this in fstab: none /test/a proc defaults 0 0 none /test/b sysfs defaults 0 0 none /test/c debugfs defaults 0 0 none /test/d tmpfs defaults 0 0 only /test/d is mounted. Is it expected? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

That's probably worth a separate bug report.
Does that mean, that I should file a bug for findings in comment #3? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
