[Bug 845809] New: KDM's kcm resets Bootlader setting to "None"
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=845809 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=845809#c0 Summary: KDM's kcm resets Bootlader setting to "None" Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: RC 1 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: wbauer@tmo.at QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux) KHTML/4.11.2 (like Gecko) Konqueror/4.11 SUSE If you enter "Configure Desktop"->"Login Screen" on a fresh installation, the Bootloader setting is set to "None" (that's the kcm's hardcoded default). Therefore if you change something else (like the theme f.e.) and save, the Bootloader setting is saved as "None". This in turn causes the "Restart" options, where you can select which OS to boot, to be gone. Reproducible: Always -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
