radeonhd: vidmode extension not supported? (HD 3200) I'm test fglrx driver again (ati-driver-installer-8-11-x86.x86_64.run) (with downgrade Xorg 7.4 to 7.3 ) and I think this is not radeonhd problem, because sax2 with fglrx and with radeonhd - have identical behavior

I'm use last pack of this repository: X11:XOrg URL: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/XOrg/openSUSE_11.0/ (with downgrade Xorg 7.4 to 7.3 if use fglrx driver) Update (CORRECTING): sax2 don't VISIBLE react on click buttons: left, rigth, up, down... etc, but change xorg.conf - this uncomfortable too and then I start sax2 - they ignore Modeline in xorg.conf (for fglrx driver.) (maybe radeonhd to? - forget) (In reply to comment #7 from Stefan Dirsch) think it's nice monitor)) : Monitor(CRT): "LG ELECTRONICS F700P" -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

My monitor can change geometry properties - but save only one state of they
I don't understand. Even monitors from the 80s were capable of saving multiple mode properties. Sometimes they run out of config space, then resetting them to factory defaults and re-setting the configuration for each mode helps. You already found a modeline that's working for you. It's certain that this mode line is for your special case necessary only, so we cannot support this in Sax2. radeonhd will not support the vidmode extension. Support for that in RandR is partially broken and had to be blamed for several crashes. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
