I tagged this bug as major because it prevents me from installing the distro.

Having a broken primary display can hardly be considered a common situation. This is not a scenario we optimize for. Depending on what type of laptop it is, there might still be special keys that still work to switch that monitor mode, and there might be a BIOS setting to permanently disable that broken primary display. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
