I couldn't provide the X.Org logfiles from installation, because I had not possibility to call the console or command line.
I don't know how to gather them (/var/log/Xorg.0.log*) either. The YaST guys should know this. Since it's possible for /var/log/YaST2/* (which is completely useless for me) it must be possible for /var/log/Xorg.0.log* as well.
You speaks about openSUSE 11.0 and this bug relates to the openSUSE 11.1 alpha 0.

But the above error message is misleading and just means the X server crashed at startup. There was libpciaccess.so missing at some point in Factory and there were udev problems.
