Apart from this there is no useful information in this bugreport. Barry, in case you'r still trying to use openSUSE 10.2, please attach /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old right after reboot. The driver "synaptics" is not in use as I can see in the X.Org logfile. So why do you think it crashes with sig11?
