Ii know it supposedly does it automatically. But due to Bug 460020 I have to to a reiserfsck --rebuildtree on it quite often. An option to activate the mapping device would be sufficient, then the user can run fsck on it. Of course, the matching "remove mapping" option would be nice. The script should know that the mapping is active, and a "start" would not require the password.
