It is there as a ".rpmnew" file so that you will merge this change into your local configuration. It's a good idea with Tumbleweed to run rpmconfigcheck from time to time. Although, I just checked it now and I don't see that change. If there are multiple changes across multiple upgrades should I see multiple rpmnew* files?
