[Bug 254611] New: KDE bluetooth support only works after restart of bluetooth services
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=254611 Summary: KDE bluetooth support only works after restart of bluetooth services Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 2 Platform: 64bit OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: one_way@online.de QAContact: qa@suse.de The following problem was not present in 10.2, however it persists since the very first factory build following the 10.2 releae, up to now (alphas for 10.3, 14th march). I even did a new install during this period, the problem persists nervertheless. Symptoms: The KDE bluetooth tray icon doesn't appear (just an empty space in the place where it should be). KDE bluetooth support doesn't work properly, the control center applets will hang. Solution: /etc/init.d/bluetooth restart killall -9 kbluetoothd With the next start of a bluetooth related KDE app, kbluetoothd will restart and everything works fine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
