The following packages are installed on my system: MozillaFirefox-3.6.4-2.1.x86_64 mozilla-xulrunner192-1.9.2.4-4.1.x86_64 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Call firefox on the command line 2. 3. I have the same packages and it works for me. Please check some stuff: ... - check if all package dependencies are satisfied ldd /usr/lib64/xulrunner-1.9.2/libxul.so
The last check showed the source of the problem thus providing the solution: libmozjs.so wasn't available on my system. After installing the latest version of the package mozilla-js92 the library was available, and Firefox started - and I could use it to access this bugzilla page. So the ticket can almost be closed, were it not for the missing dependency on the actual version of mozilla-js92 in the packages installed when upgrading Firefox or xulrunner. Reporter, you cannot remember if the package mozilla-js192 was installed while the file was missing? Or was the package missing completely?
