Alexander, could you please try to enable refresh for all the repositories?
The problem is most likely caused by an outdated information about available packages. I do not understand why zypper disable the refresh by defaul :-(
Petr, i'm disable autorefresh becouse make 'zypper ref' and 'zypper up' manually every day. Without autorefresh zypper works faster. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I see the following description of the Tumbleweed BS project: --- cut --- This project is at the moment a repository that is based on openSUSE 11.3, but contains stable updates of all kind of software. See http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-project/2010-11/msg00206.html for more information about what Tumbleweed is. --- cut --- => it is based on openSUSE-11.3 => you should need the openSUSE-11.3 repos. Exactly, the symbol libxml2.so.2(LIBXML2_2.4.30) is provided by the package libxml2-2.7.7-3.6.i586.rpm that is available via the repo http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.3/repo/oss/suse/. I reassign this bug to Greg who maintains the Tumbleweed BS project. Well, I am not sure if he would be able to prevent this mistake. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

So if you mix FACTORY or 11.4 releases with Tumbleweed, things will break, as you have found out. Please don't do that. If you are using 11.4 snapshots, you already have the same packages, and a lot more, that Tumbleweed has at the moment, so it's not needed to use Tumbleweed at all. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
