I did eventually get it to work. I think part of the problem was ignorance in how the syncing was suppoesed to happen. Maybe the latest changes to zmd made a difference. I will continue to test. If I can reproduce it reliably, I will attach logs. Leave this needinfo to me or mark it resolved.
