If there is a difference, I suspect that maybe a package is not installed or works differently for any unknown reason. Please find out which file/package is defining these macros on your installed system of Mandriva X and why this does not happend within an obs build. Maybe something can get tweaked in the project setup of Mandriva base projects. But for now this can hardly be an OBS bug. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

In the OBS status page, I read that you tweaked the rpm macros for Mandriva 2010 on x86_64 - what did you do there? Also: it's not that the macros are undefined - they just do the same as on i586 which is wrong on x86_64. I will check the installed packages though and report back. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=597040 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=597040#c3 --- Comment #3 from Adrian Schröter <adrian@novell.com> 2010-04-16 06:23:03 UTC --- Oh, right, I forgot about that. The fix was basically to create /usr/lib/rpm/platform directory early enough (before installing all packages inside of the chroot), because otherwise some rpm script failed (dunno the details anymore). I have applied this to Mandriva:2009.1 now as well, please test. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

It would be nice if you could trigger a rebuild of all Mandriva 2009.1 x86_64 packages (if possible) as this will probably affect them all. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
