There is simply no selection of 32bit packages. How to reproduce: 1. Install a system with the Minimal Server Selection (Text Mode). In that case you will find openSUSE minimal patterns: patterns-openSUSE-minimal_base-12.3-7.10.1.x86_64 patterns-openSUSE-minimal_base-conflicts-12.3-7.10.1.x86_64 2. Run zypper to list the available patterns. #> zypper patterns Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... S | Name | Version | Repository | Dependency --+-------------------+-------------+-------------------+----------- | 32bit | 12.3-7.10.1 | openSUSE-12.3-Oss | 3.
