I think it did not happen on a Shuttle PC with ATI Card and a TFT. See attached screenshot, its from a hyperv guest. I'm clicking on the upper-right icon to shutdown, the background goes white, later the xterm gets a blue border. I have seen something similar since a few weeks with Factory on such systems.
