What I found in the audit logs is a thing like: type=ANOM_ABEND msg=audit(1587281714.795:589406): auid=4294967295 uid=475 gid=476 ses=4294967295 pid=3641 comm="ns-slapd" exe="/usr/sbin/ns-slapd" sig=7 res=1

I cannot correlate that event with the other ones I have seen though.

Sig 7 is SIGBUS I think. There is an update to 1.4.2.11 in the pipeline, which may resolve the issue you are seeing here. When you have gdb and the server pauses like this, can you send the output of "thread apply all bt"? You could also consider saving a core at the same time.
