[Bug 391827] New: Gnome BT "Browse Device" not working as expected
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=391827 Summary: Gnome BT "Browse Device" not working as expected Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: casualprogrammer@yahoo.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer When activating "Browse Device" from the BT tray applet, a telephone icon appears on the desktop and the phone becomes browsable. It shows two folders: Memory Stick Telefonspeicher which behave differently. While files in Telefonspeicher can be dragged to the desktop, files in Memory Stick can not. Dragging a file from Telefonspeicher causes a message box to appear stating "File Operations copying xyz to bla.folder" and the image is transferred. Dragging a file from Memory Stick causes nothing. Programmer <casualprogrammer@yahoo.com> 2008-05-18 04:01:19 MST --- Maybe it has to do with folder depth ? When dragging a folder from second level dir to desktop it works, if slooooow. /W800T/Memory Stick/DCIM/100MSDCF/DSC01620.JPG if clicked and dragged nothing happens. /W800T/Memory Stick/DCIM/100MSDCF when clicked and dragged File operations is started and files transferred. ( 2plus hours for 76MB ), this is way faster when batch transmitting from the phone to Notebook using the Gnome-Obex-Server for reception. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

So this is likely a different bug, specific to the obex module. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
