Host: 11.4 Guest: 12.1 RC2 Environ: VMWare player. Running gnome fallback desktop. I add the minicomander applet to the top panel, but it does not display. Using ps afx | grep commander I can find that it is running. Then if I click and un-click on "use default theme colours" the applet appears. The colours seem to be black background, and the panel is precisely black. When closing the preferences dialog, another hidden dialog appears, asking to "add new macro". There is no way to exit from here (cancel button does not cancel), except pressing alt-f2, typing "xkill" and kill the dialog macro, which also kills the dialog and asks if it should be reloaded. To add pains, commands entered do not run. I tried with "xterm". I'll attach a photo.
